Fire Breaks Out At SEVENTEEN's Concert In Goyang, No Injuries Reported

A small fire broke out during SEVENTEEN's concert in Goyang. The serious situation was quickly handled, and neither the K-pop group's members nor their fans suffered any injuries.

Fire breaks out at SEVENTEEN's concertOn October 12, SEVENTEEN kicked off their fourth world tour in Goyang, South Korea. Unfortunately, during their concert at the Goyang Stadium, a fire broke out. The K-pop group's show had to be temporarily halted as smoke filled the venue after fire ignited among the stage's light fixtures.

A staff member managed to extinguish the fire before it spread, which caused a 20-minute delay. Thankfully, no injuries were reported. Despite facing a tense situation on the first day of their tour, the members played it off, saying, "SEVENTEEN and Carats are so hot, no wonder we had fire in here." Jeonghan, who attended the concert amid his military service, also tried to calm down fans.

About SEVENTEENS.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, DK, THE8, Mingyu, Seungkwan, Vernon and Dino debuted as SEVENTEEN, under Pledis Entertainment, on May 26, 2015. Over their decade-long career, the group have released a bunch of hit tracks including Don't Wanna Cry, Aju Nice, Home, Adore U, Super and more. ALSO READ: SEVENTEEN is all set to release their 12th mini-album, SPILL THE FEELS, on October 14. The upcoming album marks the K-pop group's first comeback in approximately six months, since the released of their anthology album 17 IS RIGHT HERE in April this year.

Unfortunately, only eleven members will be able to promote the 12th mini album. Jeonghan and Jun will be absent during the promotional period. While Jeonghan recently enlisted to complete his mandatory military service, Jun will filming a project in China during the promotion period.
