When she saw him at the event, she asked, "What are you doing here? Why aren’t you in court? When will you announce your decision on the Kolkata case?" She emphasized, "The entire world is watching." In a powerful show of solidarity, doctors nationwide protested the murder and alleged sexual assault of a post-graduate trainee doctor, calling for justice. Demonstrations took place in cities like Kolkata, Guwahati, Hyderabad, and Mumbai. Celebrities including Priyanka Chopra, Hrithik Roshan, Suhana Khan, Alia Bhatt, and Kriti Sanon also voiced their support, standing with the victim's family.
