The Knicks made a solid 20-point comeback, creating NBA playoff history as they secured a 91-90 win over the Boston Celtics on May 7th at the TD Garden in Boston. The one-point narrow win gave the Knicks a 2-0 series lead.

Karl-Anthony Towns dominated inside, powering his way to 21 points on 9-of-16 shooting. He cleaned up the glass with 17 rebounds, including 3 on the offensive end. Towns also stayed perfect from the free-throw line, going 3-for-3.

Mikal Bridges logged heavy minutes but couldn’t get going offensively, scoring 14 points on 6-of-18 shooting. He struggled from deep, hitting just 2-of-8 from beyond the arc. Still, he added value with 7 boards, 5 assists, and 3 steals.

Jalen Brunson had an off night, finishing with 17 points on 6-of-19 from the field. He made just 2-of-9 from three but led the team with 7 assists and only turned it over twice. Mitchell Robinson brought energy off the bench, scoring 6 points, grabbing 8 rebounds.
