Kylie Kelce believes that being a "girl dad" comes with some perks for her husband, NFL veteran Jason Kelce . During a recent chat on Amanda Hirsch’s “Not Skinny but Not Fat” podcast, Kylie looked back on the early days of their relationship. The two tied the knot in 2018, and she shared personal stories and insights about their journey together.

Kylie Kelce on how fatherhood has softened Jason Kelce and strengthened their marriage
Kyle Kelce reflected on how their bond grew over time, highlighting Jason’s caring nature and how it naturally translated into his role as a father to their daughters. Kylie shared that watching him embrace fatherhood, especially with all girls, has not only softened him but also deepened their connection as a couple.

“I think he has a very skewed idea of women... which is probably why he was blessed with four daughters,” she said, pointing to the couple’s children Wyatt, 5; Elliotte, 4; Bennett, 2; and Finnley, born March 30.

“The universe said, ’He doesn’t get it. We need him to get it.’ With only a brother and the only females in his house were his mom and his dog,” she added, referring to Jason Kelce’s younger brother, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce , and their mother Donna Kelce.

Kylie also opened up about the surprising first impression she made on Jason’s family when they began dating. “When we started dating and he introduced me to his family, his parents were like, ‘Oh, oh, he’s dating someone.’ Like, it was a shock,” she recalled. She later said, “I was like, ‘You guys are shocked to a point where, like, should I be here? Why are you so surprised that he’s holding down a long-term girlfriend?’”

Despite that awkward start, Kylie shared that she and Jason are actually a great fit, mainly because she doesn’t expect over-the-top romantic gestures. She joked that something as simple as a playful smack on the butt while passing by in the kitchen is enough to make her feel loved, since physical touch is one of her main love languages. “It’s like, ‘Walk past me in the kitchen, smack my ass.’ I’m good. We’re good,” she joked. “Physical touch is one of my love languages.”

Later in the interview, Kylie also looked to the future, imagining the challenges of raising teenage daughters. She teased that Jason might need to temporarily move out when things get intense during their teen years. “I told Jason he’s allowed to move out as long as he visits me ... as soon as they all hit, as soon as we’re all synced up,” she said, referring to the idea that women’s menstrual cycles line up when they spend a lot of time living together.
