Ishan Kishan has a message for BCCI selectors

Ishan Kishan 's return to red-ball cricket saw him scoring a century in the second-round match of the Duleep Trophy after his last-minute inclusion in the Team C squad while he had been ruled out of the first-round tie because of a groin injury.

The wicketkeeper-batsman, who hasn't been considered by the BCCI selectors for the first Test of the two-match home series against Bangladesh, scored 111 runs off 126 balls to remind the Ajit Agarkar-led selection committee about his skills with some entertaining stroke-play.

Soon after the match, Ishan's cryptic post on Instagram had fans talking about his possible return to the Indian team, after he was overlooked for the annual contract by the BCCI for his absence from domestic competitions while he was not on national duty.

"Unfinished business", wrote Ishan while sharing a series of images from his century knock in the Duleep Trophy.

And his comment received some interesting replies on the post.

"Pocket dynamite is back", one fan commented -- while another said, "Only the beginning".

Ishan's last apperance for India came on the tour of South Africa last year, after which he had made himself unavailable citing mental fatigue. However, he looked in prime form en route to his century against India B, which included 14 fours and three sixes.

The left-handed batsman also shared a 189-run stand with Baba Indrajith (78) for the third wicket.

The match, however, ended in a draw.
