Asus has unveiled the ExpertBook P5405 laptop – the company’s flagship AI-powered business laptop – in India. It features the newly-launched Intel Core Ultra processors (Series 2) and integrates Asus AI ExpertMeet tools for “AI-enhanced” work experience. The company has also announced the pre-booking dates of Zenbook S14 2024 that are also powered by Lunar Lake chips .
The Asus ExpertBook P5 laptop will be available on sale in India during Q4 2024.
Asus ExpertBook P5 features
Asus ExpertBook P5 is powered by Intel’s latest Lunar Lake processor, which is claimed to offer up to 47 NPU TOPS and up to 115 total platform TOPS of performance. This makes the machine able to run AI applications and tools that aim to optimise online meetings with advanced features such as AI transcript, AI translation, AI subtitles, assisted meeting summaries, AI camera, AI noise cancelling, and business watermarks.
The Asus ExpertBook P5405 comes with multilayered security extending to the BIOS level, including advanced features like Secure Boot and a discrete Trusted Platform Module (TPM) to guard against unauthorised interventions at startup.
It also comes with an optional SafeGuard Backup tool, which backs up important data with encrypted protection. Asus has partnered with McAfee to pre-install McAfee+ Premium Individual Unlimited on the ExpertBook P5405 model, free for one year globally.
Asus says that the ExpertBook P5405 has a standard international warranty, that includes coverage for the adapter.
Asus Zenbook S14 2024 pre-booking
Asus also announced that the Zenbook S14 2024, powered by Intel Core Ultra processors (Series 2), is now available for pre-booking till September 24. Offers for its upcoming laptop include a 2-year additional warranty, 3-years accidental damage protection and branded earbuds.
Customers can pre-book the laptop from Asus Exclusive stores, ASUS eShop, Amazon, or Flipkart, and register their email to receive a unique coupon code. The coupon code is redeemable within 15 days post the final purchase of the power-packed laptop.
