BenQ has expanded its product range in India with the launch of two new home cinema projectors—W5850 and W4100i—featuring 4K UHD resolution, HDR support, advanced colour accuracy, and long-lasting solid-state light sources. The W5850 is equipped with a 2600-lumen blue laser light source and a 1.6x motorized zoom for theatre-scale projection, while the W4100i offers 3200 ANSI lumens brightness, a 4LED light source with up to 30,000 hours of life, and built-in Android TV with native Netflix support.
BenQ W5850 and W4100i projectors: Price and availability
The W5850 is priced at Rs 7,00,000, while the W4100i will retail at Rs 4,00,000. Both projectors will be available through all leading Home AVSI partners across India starting May 2025 onwards.

The W5850 is designed for theatre-scale projection, offering a 200-inch image, 2600-lumen blue core laser, 1.6x motorized zoom, and digital four-way lens shift. It can project a 180-inch screen from a distance of 4 metres.
The W4100i features 3200 ANSI lumens brightness, a 4LED light source with up to 30,000 hours of life, and built-in Android TV with native support for Netflix and other streaming apps. It includes AI Cinema Mode, which adjusts image quality based on ambient lighting and content.
Both models support BenQ’s CinematicColor (100% DCI-P3), HDR-PRO technologies, HDR10+, HLG, Dolby Atmos pass-through, eARC, and 7.1 surround sound compatibility. They also feature low latency (17.9ms) for gaming and action content.
