Donald Trump's youngest son 18-year-old Barron Trump was set to give his first public speech in a virtual event -- a live X space held to launch Donald Trump's new crypto exchange World Liberty Financial. Apparently, Barron Trump is well-conversed with crypto and there was a segment for him to speak in yesterday's live event.

Any individual must have an X account to take part in Space and Barron Trump reportedly opened one X account by the name Barron X Spaces, with a blue tick and 83.7K followers.

But when it was his time to speak, he was nowhere to be found. "Damn teenagers. I'm like the old boomer now. Grumpy old man with the beard," Donald Trump Jr said as Barron gave the event a miss.

It was not clear why Barron Trump did not join the live event but he was expected to, it has been made clear by the disappointment expressed by his elder brother.

Donald Trump spoke at the event and a lot of it was about his children and how well they know about crypto. "Barron knows so much about this. Barron is a young guy. He's got four wallets or something. I'm saying 'explain this to me.' He knows it so well. And Eric and Don. I have a lot of respect for them," Trump said mentioning all his sons.

In this new project, Barron Trump has been designated as the Chief DeFi visionary -- DeFi stands for decentralized finance. Eric and Donald Trump Jr are Web3 Ambassadors and Donald Trump is the chief crypto advocate. The Trumps will receive compensation from the project but the project is not entirely owned, managed, operated or sold by the members of the Trump family. Donald Trump's friend, aide, donor Steve Witkoff along with Eric Trump are the two people heading the new project.
