Israel on Monday said that it had eliminated Suhail Hussein Husseini , the commander of the Hezbollah headquarters, in a precision airstrike. The strike, carried out by Israeli fighter jets near Beirut, is part of Israel's recent series of targeted killings aimed at the leadership of Hezbollah.

Suhail Hussein Husseini was a key figure in Hezbollah’s military operations, managing the logistics and budgeting of the group's most sensitive projects, including weapons transfers between Iran and Hezbollah, the Israeli military said.
