Jaipur In a major late-night crackdown, Jaipur police raided a rave party at a hotel in the Bagru police station area, leading to the arrest of 40 youths, including both men and women. The raid, conducted in the early hours of Saturday, also resulted in the seizure of a large quantity of illegal liquor. The hotel owner was arrested for serving alcohol without a license.
Police Action at Hotel Kaelum Atharva Palace and RestaurantAccording to Deputy Commissioner of Police (West) Amit Kumar, the raid took place at the Hotel Kaelum Atharva Palace and Restaurant located in Himmatpura, Bagru. After receiving a tip-off about an illegal rave party underway, plainclothes officers were dispatched to verify the information. Following confirmation, a joint police team from Bagru and Bindayaka police stations launched a raid around 1:30 a.m.
Upon arrival, the police found numerous youths under the influence of alcohol. Some attempted to flee but were quickly apprehended. During the raid, the officers demanded legal documents from the hotel owner, Mukesh Gurjar, for serving liquor. However, the owner failed to produce valid permits, resulting in his immediate arrest.
List of Arrested IndividualsThose arrested during the operation include residents from various districts such as Jaipur, Sikar, Ajmer, Kota, Jhunjhunu, Bikaner, Nagaur, and even Uttar Pradesh. The individuals were taken into custody and are currently being held at Bindayaka police station. Names of some of the detainees include Sohaib from Shastri Nagar, Ronak from Vaishali Nagar, Lokesh from Sawai Madhopur, Mohar Singh from Sanganer, Mukesh Sharma from Bagru, Pradeep Surana from Bikaner, among others.
Ongoing Investigation and Legal ActionPolice officials have confirmed that legal action is being initiated under relevant sections related to illegal liquor consumption and unauthorized public gatherings. Further investigation is underway to determine if narcotic substances were also involved.
Authorities have reiterated their commitment to maintaining law and order and have warned that strict action will continue against establishments violating excise and public safety regulations.
