Ahead of the much-awaited premieres of Vasudha and Jagriti – Ek Nayi Subah, the cast of both shows visited the iconic Parel Cha Raja pandal to seek blessings for their upcoming journeys. The actors participated in the maha aarti and joined the festivities alongside enthusiastic devotees.
Vasudha stars Nausheen Ali Sardar (Chandrika Singh Chauhan), Priya Thakur (Vasudha), and Abhishek Sharma (Devansh), while Jagriti’s lead cast includes Aarya Babbar (Kalikant Thakur), Asmi Deo (Jagriti), and Titiksha Shrivastava (Geeta). The actors took the opportunity to meet fans and celebrate the vibrant spirit of Ganesh Chaturthi at the pandal.
Expressing her excitement, Priya Thakur, who plays the titular role in Vasudha, shared, “Being part of such an auspicious occasion before our show’s launch feels like a true blessing. This is my first Ganesh Chaturthi celebration in Mumbai, and visiting Parel Cha Raja was a surreal experience. I sought Bappa’s blessings for Vasudha and hope the audience connects with it as deeply as we do. Ganpati Bappa Morya!”
Asmi Deo, who portrays Jagriti in Jagriti – Ek Nayi Subah, also expressed her joy. “Visiting Parel Cha Raja and performing aarti was a memorable experience. The energy, devotion, and beautiful decorations made it truly special. I’m excited for the audience to watch my performance and hope they shower our show with love and blessings!
